Curlers lives in your System Folder. When you start up your Mac, Curlers changes the quote keys into curly quotes ╥like this╙. This change happens automatically as you type. You don╒t need to remember any special key combinations, just type.
Curlers understands either opening or closing curls, but it can occasionally make a mistake. This is because it can╒t read the screen, it only ╥knows╙ what you╒ve typed. If you don╒t get the right quote on the first try, just backspace and give it another chance. Repeat this if you want to switch to ╥ordinary╙ quotes.
Curlers remembers whether you╒re using straight or curly quotes and uses the same kind until you switch back.
Special feature for people who like shortcuts: If you know you╒ll want ╥ordinary╙ quotes, type a single quote first after switching on the power, but before using the mouse. (This usually means when the Finder╒s desktop is showing. Nothing visible will happen when you type the key there.) That tells Curlers to begin using ordinary quotes unless you switch.
